Dear friends and family,
We have been here for almost 2 weeks now and are hoping to get to Koza by the end of this
week. There are a lot of paperwork hassels and things are a bit more difficult to get done here.
Everyone has been very nice and helpful since we have been here though.
One specific prayer request that we have is that we found out last night that there have been
some financial problems with the Koza hospital and the electric company is turning off the
electricity until past bills are paid. I think that it is years worth of bills…Please pray that this will be
taken care of soon. We are also having trouble getting the ham radio license and can’t have
communication until we have it. Please pray for these issues as well.
Otherwise we are fine. Language is still difficult but we are managing. Love to everyone and we
will send out a more complete update when we get to Koza.
That trip ought to be an adventure in itself…
Love, Audrey, Greg, and Sarah

Trip to Cameroun

Trip to Cameroun
Hello Family, 7-18-05 in Paris
Well we are off to an exciting start on our way to
africa. We got on the plane in Washington DC without
being asked to pay for the excess baggage we had
checked (total of 15 pieces). On the plane we were
delayed a little while and an agent came on the plane
saying I hadn’t payed. So I had to give him my credit
card on the plane and they called it in to charge me
the correct amount. Well we sat there longer in the
airplane for another 4 hours because of “a nearby
storm” while we could see sun around us. Sounded
questionable to us. So we left Dullas late and
arrived in Paris just as our flight our of Paris was
leaving. We then waited in Paris, in a line to get
rebooked on the next flight to Cameroon and get a
hotel for the night. Only to be reminded that, Air
France is the airline with the most frequent travel
into Cameroon, and that we would have to wait till
Wed. to leave Paris. Fortunately we did NOT have to
re-get our 15 bags of checked luggage out. This
process took many hours in all and we basically blew
the remainder of today, Monday. Tomorrow we plan on
seeing Paris on the fast tour. So we are off on our
adventure already. Im sure more will follow. Please pray that all our bags arrive safely there in Yaounde
with us. We know we are doing what God wants us to
and that is comforting in crazy times. We love you,
Greg, Aud, Sarah
